Maiestas oryzae (formerly Recilia oryzae) is a species of plant-sucking bug from the Cicadellidae family that can be found in countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Henan, province of China.[2] and the far-eastern Russian maritime.[3] Recilia oryzae feeds on the leaves of plants, including rice plants.[3]
The species was moved from Recilia to Maiestas in 2009.
