Mahendra Patil (Marathi: महेंद्र पाटील) is an Indian screenwriter, actor.[4] Till now mahendra has successfully written 6 Marathi feature films. He also work as festival director for Marathi film festival. He noted for his work in Marathi cinema.[5][6]

Career

Mahendra started his career as assistant director.[3] Later he turned in writing, at begin of his career, he wrote several plays,[7] later he turned into screenwriting.[8] His first film as writer was 2012 release Marathi film Amhi Chamakte Tare, till date he has written 5 released and 1 unreleased Marathi feature films.[9]

He is also engaged in organising Marathi Chitrapat Mahotsav, called Ambarnath Marathi Film Festival since 2015.[10][11][12][13]
