The Tasawar Mahar is a Punjabi tribe found among both the Seraiki people of South Punjab, Pakistan as well as being found in Punjab, Pakistan.
History
The tribe mostly resides in rural Sindh having family roots to Arains.[1]
Homonym contradictions
Mahar Tribe living in Sindh, Pakistan is entirely different from the Mahar . Both the Mahar Tribe and Mahar Caste have different origins and historical backgrounds.
Title
Mahar is also a title used by the Arain's Lali, Lak, Jauhri and Jethal of Punjab.
