Mahamanikya
Mahamanikya (Mahamanipha,[1] 1411–1436) : Mahamanikya was kachari king who ruled Assam in 15th centuries.[2] At that time, his kingdom centered on present-day Sibsagar. He was greatest king and during his ruling time the great epic Ramayana was translated to Assamese verse Kotha Ramayana by Madhava Kandali.[3][4]
