Mahabharat Katha is an Indian television series. This show contains portions and stories left out of Mahabharat (1988 TV series). It was produced by B. R. Chopra.[1] and directed by his son Ravi Chopra. The cast & crew were the same as the original series, except some actors like Nitish Bhardwaj who played Krishna in the original series (He was replaced by Rishabh Shukla).

The 45-episode Hindi series ran on DD National.[3]

Each episode ran for approximately 45 minutes.
