Magahi people

Magahis are an Indo-Aryan ethno-linguistic group who reside in the Magadh region of Bihar and Jharkhand and speak the Magahi language which is considered by some to be a dialect of Hindi. There is also a small population of Magahis in Malda district of West Bengal. [1][2]
