Maebara Station (前原駅, Maebara-eki) is a railway station operated by Shin-Keisei Electric Railway's Shin-Keisei Line located in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture Japan. It is 23.9 kilometers from the terminus of the Shin-Keisei Line at Matsudo Station.

History

Maebara Station was opened on 13 December 1948.[1] From 1961-1968, a spur line extended from Maebara Station to Shin-Tsudanuma Station via Fujisakidai Station (藤崎台駅, Fujisakidai-eki). The line was discontinued in 1968.[2]

Maebara Station has two opposed side platforms connected by an overpass. The station is somewhat unusual in that each platform has a separate exit.
