Mads Emil Møller Madsen (born 14 January 1998) is a Danish footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Silkeborg IF.

Youth career

Madsen transferred to Silkeborg IF from his local club Gl. Rye IF managed by his father at the age of 13.[1] He was admitted to the Talent Team of Silkeborg and after graduating from the elementary school, he joined Silkeborg Football College.

In October 2016, Madsen signed a new long professional contract with the club until 2020. With this new contract, he would be promoted to the first team squad in the summer 2017, and play professionally on full time.[2]

Club career

Silkeborg IF

On 10 October 2016, Madsen got his debut for Silkeborg IF at the age of 18.[3] Madsen started on the bench, but replaced Sammy Skytte in the 87nd minut in a 1–1 draw against Lyngby BK.

He played his first game from start in 0–5 defeat against AaB in the Danish Cup on 2 March 2017.[4]
