Mac-Talla (band)

Mac-Talla was a Scottish Gaelic band formed in 1987 with the involvement of An Comunn Gàidhealach America (The Gaelic Society of America).[1] Focusing on vocals and traditional Gaelic songs, the band played at the first U.S. Gaelic Mòd and the Nova Scotia Mòd.[2][3] The singer Eilidh Mackenzie, a recipient of the An Comunn Gàidhealach Gold Medal, was a member of the band during the 1990s.[4] Christine Primrose, another Gaelic singer, was also a member.[5]
