Māris Mihelsons (born 3 August 1975) is a Latvian rock musician, best known for being the keyboardist, also plays other instruments including synthesizer and well as accordion and a founding member of the pop rock Brainstorm. He has been member of the group since it formed in 1989. The band came third in 2000 at Eurovision with "My Star".
Personal life
He was born in Jelgava in Latvian SSR, Soviet Union (now Latvia). He graduated at Latvia University of Agriculture with a secondary education. In the summer of 1989, the band was formed in Jelgava, later he joined the band. Maris has 2 children - daughter Maija Mihelsone and son Andrejs Mihelsons.
