Luis Fernando Copete Murillo (born February 12, 1989 in Itsmina, Chocó) is a Colombian-born Nicaraguan professional football player.[4][5][6]
Club career
Copete and compatriot Raúl Leguías joined Costa Rican side AS Puma for the 2015 Verano season.[7]
In early 2016, Copete went on trial with Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Shakhter Karagandy, but did not earn a contract.[8]
In 2018 Copete signed with Sonsonate of El Salvador for the Clausura tournament.
International career
Copete became a naturalized citizen of Nicaragua in 2014,[9] and received his first call-up to the Nicaragua national football team a year later.[10]
