Lughaya (Arabic: لوغايا) is a small coastal town in the northwestern Awdal region of Somalia.[1]

Demographics

The broader Lughaya District has a total population of 101,104 residents.[2]

The town is inhabited by the Mahad 'Ase subclan of the Gadabuursi Dir clan.[3][4]
