Lower Congo

Lower Congo constitutes the 'lower' parts of the great Congo River in Central Africa, which constitutes the river from the rivermouth at the Atlantic coast to the twin capitals of Brazzaville in the Republic of the Congo and Kinshasa in the DR Congo.

The only significant tributary to the great Congo River in this region is the Inkisi River, that flows in an northery direction from the border against Angola proper.
