Lou Sanders

Lou Sanders is an English writer, stand-up comedian and actress.[1]

Her television appearances include programmes such as Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, a live appearance on BBC1's 'Red Nose Day 2017' for Comic Relief as part of Russell Brand's Stand-Up Hour, Comedy Up Late from the Melbourne Comedy Festival, Russell Howard's Good News,[2] Big Brother's Bit on the Side and Sam Delaney's News Thing, as well as radio appearances including The Unbelievable Truth for Radio 4.

She is also known for her work as a comedy writer, having written for television programmes including Stand Up for the Week and 8 Out of 10 Cats and for acts including Miranda Hart.

She has regularly performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, starting in 2011 with How To Be Awesome: An Introduction,[3] followed by And Now for a Nice Evening with Wallan (2012),[4] Lou Sanders in Another Great Show Again (2014),[5] Excuse me You’re Sitting on my Penis Again (2015),[6] and most recently with her fifth show What’s That Lady Doing? (2016).[7] Another Great Show Again was filmed during its run at the Soho Theatre, and released on DVD.[8]

She was previously a co-host on The Richard Herring Show on Fubar Radio.[9]
