Carlotte Mae "Lotte" Wubben-Moy (born 1 November 1999) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for collegiate soccer for the University of North Carolina in the United States. She has represented England on the under-15, under-17, and under-19 national teams.

Early life

Born in London, England, to a Dutch father and English mother, Wubben-Moy attended Anglo European School and was named victrix ludorum in 2015.[2] She played football, netball as well as track and field.[2]

Playing career

Club

Wubben-Moy earned her first cap with the senior side of Arsenal at the age of 16 during a 2–1 win over Notts County.[3][4] She plays primarily as a center back for the team.[2] Wubben-Moy made two appearances during the 2015 FA WSL season.[4] Arsenal won the 2015 FA WSL Cup and the 2015–16 FA Women's Cup.[4]

Ahead of the FA WSL Spring Series in 2017, Wubben-Moy was plagued by injuries in the pre-season.[3]

International

Wubben-Moy captained the under-17 national team during the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.[5][6] The team reached the quarterfinals.[2] She captained the team at the 2016 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship where it finished in third place.[2]
