Lori Lansens

Lori Lansens is a Canadian novelist and screenwriter. She was a successful screenwriter, whose credits included the films South of Wawa, Wolf Girl and Marine Life, before publishing her first novel Rush Home Road in 2002.

Lansens' follow-up novel, The Girls, was featured as a book-club pick by the Richard & Judy Show in the UK, selling over 400,000 copies. The book received recognition as a 2007 Best Book for Young Adults from the American Library Association.[1]

She followed up with The Wife's Tale in 2012, and The Mountain Story in 2015.[2]

Born and raised in Chatham, Ontario, in July 1962, Lansens now makes her home in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
