Logic School of Management (LSM), a management training institute of South India, in association with WILEY is giving training for Certified Management Accountants (CMA). LSM claims a success rate of 75%. The main courses offered includes CA (Foundation, Intermediate & FINAL), CPA (USA), CMA (USA), CMA (INDIA), CS, M.Com (Finance & Taxation).^[1][2][3][4]

Certification

Logic School of Management is a premium Indian institution to provide training for International Professional Finance Courses. It is a valued Indian partner of the IMA – USA for CMA USA coaching. LSM has an International Partnership with Wiley, USA and is also an approved learning partner of ISDC direct for ACCA coaching in Kochi and Kottayam.^[5][6][7]

History

Logic, started as training provider in Information Technology and Software Industry started in the year 1996 with Cochin as the business headquarters. It was incorporated as private limited company and its first promoter – directors were Mr. Jose Ouseph, Mr. Nitto Joseph, Biju Joseph jacob and Paul Joseph. The objective of the business was Computer Sales, Import of Computer parts and Software Development and Customisation. Since the enterprise was not doing well, the business strategy was modified to embrace IT Education and Training in India with a name change as “Logic Institute Of technology. Logic commenced the courses MCSE and MCSD Course, later it added Cisco related courses like CCNA .On its forward journey, new courses like CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CEH, RHCE, PHP, Java, Android, iOS, Embedded, Phython, Wordpress were offered.

Logic entered new arena of professional course with the launch of Management and accounting business schools, christened “Logic School of Management” in 2005 with CA Vinod Kumar and CMA Santhosh Kumar as directors. Further courses like CPA USA , CMA USA ,Chartered Accountancy (CA India), ICWA (now CMA, India), Company Secretaries (CS, India), IFRS, ACCA (UK) were added.

Keeping an eye on the need of Global Students for Quality Coaching, Logic School of International Studies, the online division of LSM, came up with the idea of providing extensive full fledged training for CMA (US) or CPA (US) in Online Live Interactive Web Based Platform. Courses

• CA (Chartered Accountancy)

Chartered Accountancy course offered by ICAI (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and ranked No.2 in the world. It offers job opportunities in the area of Accounting, Auditing, Corporate Finance, Project Evaluation, Company and other Business Laws, Taxation and Corporate Governance. A candidate can pursue Chartered Accountancy Course either through Foundation Course Route or Direct Entry Route.

• CMA - USA (Certified Management Accountant)

Offered by IMA – USA (Institute of Management Accountant), it is equivalent to CMA – India and has 2 exams along with 2 years practical training. The core area is Cost and Management Accounting with the Exam windows in January – February, May – June and September – October.

• CMA – India (Cost and Management Accountant)

There are 3 stages to complete CMA – India. The Foundation is after 10 +2 and the Intermediate can be done after completing graduation / foundation course of ICMAI/ ICSI or intermediate level of ICAI. Students should complete the intermediate level to join for the final level.

• CS –Company Secretary

There are three stages covered under CS Course. Foundation Programme (10+2 Passed Students can start from this stage), Executive Programme [Bachelor’s Degree (except in Fine Arts), Foundation pass of ICSI, Foundation pass of ICAI-CMA, CPT / foundation Pass of ICAI can start from this stage.

• ACCA – UK (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

It has only fourteen exams with the option to complete other diploma and degree course. The ACCA certification is recognized in 181 countries.

• CPA – USA (Certified Public Accountant)

Offered by American Institute of Certified Public Accountants UK, it has only four online exams with no negative marks. Exams have to be written either from the US or Middle East. ^[8]
