Loaded Sista is a female duo/band consisting of Salli Flaherty and Keisha Rodney. Salli Flaherty also known as Salli Greaves is a female actress from Yorkshire, United Kingdom who played the role of Lauren in London's TV series Hanrahan Investigates (The Baby Snatchers) in 2007.[1] She is now based in Sheffield, UK having recently moved from the city in London in the United Kingdom.

The Band

They were formed in 2009 when Keisha placed an advert online for the formation of her new urban girl band. With two other girl members they began writing music and taking part in local performances throughout London. Other girls came and went but Salli and Keisha remained together, destined to be musically connected. Things seemed to die down and Salli eventually moved back to her home town Yorkshire as things seemed impossible for them to continue in the city of London.

The Voice UK 2018

The_Voice_UK_(series_7) seemed like an attractive challenge for the duo to showcase their talent and skillful vocals. They applied to take part and surprised the judges with their performance which got them though the first auditions with ease.[2] During the heats towards the finals Keisha Rodney experienced a tragic blow during their TV performance. Keisha's former partner Daniel Frederick[3] was stabbed to death near his home in Stoke Newington, London. A 16-year-old boy has sinced been arrested on suspicion of the murder. [4] The duo was determined to continue despite Keisha's set back and continued to perform successfully to have all judges Will.i.am, Tom_Jones_(singer), Jennifer_Hudson and Olly_Murs all competing to take them on board. The girl duo decided on choosing judge Will.i.am as their coach for the next competition phase. They continued to make headlines in The Sun Newspaper [5] and public support grew rapidly after their appearance on the Lorraine_Kelly TV Show on ITV where they discussed their rise to fame and the death of Keisha's partner. Being on the Will.i.am team meant that they had to go head to head with other musicians in the competition. It was arranged that they had to do battle against another contestant, Mark Asari [7] who was eventually selected to go through to the final round of The Voice UK 2018 finals.

Career

The duo later caught the attention of international Record Producer & Musician Mark Duffus (Blak Prophetz) who later signed them to his record label Digital Jukebox Records.
