Lloyd H. Kincaid

Lloyd H. Kincaid (May 8, 1925 – November 1, 2007) was an American cabinetmaker who served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin State Senate.

Biography

Kincaid was born on May 8, 1925 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. He graduated from high school in Crandon, Wisconsin. During World War II, he served in the United States Army.[1] From 1970 to 1973, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Nicolet Area Technical College. He was a member of the American Legion and active in his local church. He died on November 1, 2007 in Crandon.[2]

Political career

Kincaid was an alderman in Crandon and a member of the Forest County, Wisconsin Board of Supervisors from 1970 to 1973. He was a member of the Assembly from 1972 until 1983, when he was elected to the Senate in a special election. Kincaid remained a member of the Senate until 1989. He was initially elected to the Assembly as a Republican, but during the 1977 session switched parties to become a Democrat.[3][4]
