Elizabeth Watson (born 30 March 1994) is an Australian netball player, currently playing for the Melbourne Vixens.
Early life and career
Watson was born on 30 March 1994 and her hometown is Carlton, an inner Melbourne suburb.[2]
Watson made her professional netball debut in 2014 for the Melbourne Vixens, a team she has played for ever since.[2] She first made the Australia national netball team squad in her debut year and represented the team on-court for the first time against England in 2016.[1] In 2017, she was the recipient of the inaugural Young Star Award, an honour bestowed on the most impressive netballer in the Super Netball competition, aged under 23.[3] She was selected in the Australian Diamonds squad for the 2018/19 international season.[4]
