"Live for Loving You" is a single by Cuban American singer and songwriter Gloria Estefan. It was released in September 1991 worldwide as the fourth and last single from her second solo album Into the Light.

Song history

This was the final single from the Gloria Estefan concept album Into the Light. "Coming Out of the Dark", "Live for Loving You", "How Can I Be Sure" and "Hoy" are some of the songs that Gloria has dedicated to her husband. "Live for Loving You" was the most danceable single released from this album, and was the second with the most highest positions at the charts and is a "Favourite" of Estefan's fans. The video of the song takes place in an animated Miami. It features Gloria's Dalmatian dog, also her husband and her son appear in the video. Gloria also recorded the video of the "Underground Remix," but it has not been featured on any video collection of Gloria's unlike the original video, which is set to the single remix and appears at the very start of the VHS/DVD, Everlasting Gloria video collection. This song was included in the medley "Gloria's Hitmix" that was released later on the Heaven's What I Feel CD maxi single.
