Liu Tingting (Chinese: 刘婷婷; pinyin: Liú Tíngtíng; born September 6, 2000, Guangdong) is a Chinese artistic gymnast.

Career

In 2015 Liu Tingting became the China junior national all-around champion.[1]

At the senior 2016 Chinese National Championships she took the bronze all-around medal, the silver on beam, and was fifth on uneven bars and in floor exercise.[1]

15-year-old Liu Tingting was originally included in the 5-member Chinese Olympic women's artistic gymnastics team, but on July 18 it was announced that she had suffered a hand injury while training on uneven bars and would be replaced by 19-year-old Tan Jiaxin, who in 2014 and 2015 had already won two team all-around silver medals at the World Championships.[1][2]

At the 2017 World Cup in Melbourne, Liu qualified first on balance beam and second on uneven bars and floor exercise. She went on to place first on uneven bars and balance beam and third on floor exercise.[3]
