The Little Angels School (Telugu - ) (LAS), is a senior secondary school located in MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.[1][2]

Summary

Little Angels School was founded in 1983 at MVP Colony with 95 students. Today the school has 3,000 students on its rolls. Following the opening in MVP Colony, a branch began in Ukkunagaram (Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Township) in order to meet the requirement for a standard English medium school in the Steel City township and the nearby areas.

Students have been securing ranks in Maths Olympiad,NTSE,SLSTSE and in the Annual Public Examinations. Students have won Pratibha Awards and national merit scholarships. Popular students from this school include Malavika (singer). [3]

Information

Little Angels has classes ranging from LKG to X. The school is recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and has English as its medium of instruction. The school has introduced a CBSE syllabus from the academic year 2004–05. The school offers CBSE syllabus also for classes LKG to X in addition to the present state syllabus.Apart from academic activities the school boasts a good record in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Recently the concept of smart school was introduced and the education system is made more interactive. Various competitions such as group discussion and debating are being held for the overall development of the student.The school has a good playground in the middle and every week there is a special class for sports for all the students. Famous teacher in this school is Kalyani teacher who teaches biology along with moral values.The school timings are, 8:00 am to 1:30 pm for 1st standard to 5th standard students and 8:00 am to 3:15 pm for students from 6th standard to 10th standard.
