List of dedicated video game consoles
This is a list of all dedicated video game consoles in chronological order.
Most first generation video game consoles are dedicated consoles, i.e. they have a single game or limited list of games built in, and are not equipped for additional games. They almost ceased to be produced for a time, until about 2001; many consoles produced since then have older generation game content, repackaged and rebranded.
