Britney Spears is an American singer and actress. Her debut studio album ...Baby One More Time was released by Jive Records in 1999. The album spawned songs such as "...Baby One More Time", "Sometimes" and "Born To Make You Happy". Spears earned Grammy nominations for the Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance categories in 2000, eventually winning her first Grammy award in 2005 for her single "Toxic" in the Best Dance Recording category. As "Pop's Ultimate Femme Fatale",[1] she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at age 21, the youngest recording artist in history to receive the honor.[2] In 2002 Spears topped the Forbes Celebrity 100 list[3] and in 2012 she was named by Forbes as The Top-Earning Women in Music.[4] For her outstanding career achievements and influence in the music industry, Spears was recognized with lifetime achievement awards by several publications .Spears received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2016, billboard honored spears with their Billboard Millennium Award and she also became only the third recepit of this award in history.[5] Among others, she was awarded the Ultimate Choice Award at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards and first ever Icon award given at the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards.
Spears' accolades include one Grammy Award, six Guinness Book of World Records, six MTV Video Music Awards, eight MTV Europe Music Awards, one American Music Award, seven Billboard Music Awards, three NRJ Music Awards, three World Music Awards, one MTV Asia Awards, one MTV Australia Awards, one MTV Video Music Brasil, nine Teen Choice Awards, two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award, six People's Choice Awards, among others. Spears has topped the list of most searched celebrities seven times in 12 years, a record since the inception of the internet.[6]
Billboard Awards

A German accolade honoring excellence of performers in film, television and music. Presented annually since 1957, winners are selected by the readers of Bravo magazine. The award is presented in gold, silver and bronze. Britney has twice won Gold in the Female singer category, and once in Bronze and Silver in the consolidated category.
The Echo Music Award is an accolade bestowed by the Deutsche Phono-Akademie, an association of recording companies of Germany, to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. They are the German equivalent to the Grammy Awards.
The Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (ZPAV), which presents the annual Fryderyk, seen as the Polish equivalent of the Grammy Awards, also honours one Polish and one foreign song the title of Digital Single of the Year, denoting the best-selling single of the year.

The Glamour Awards are hosted by magazine Glamour annually to honor extraordinary and inspirational women from a variety of fields. Spears was one of the Women of the Year award recipients at the first ceremony.

The MTV Video Music Awards is an award presented by the cable channel MTV to honor the best in the music video medium. Britney has been nominated for 29 VMAs, winning 6, including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, presented to Spears by Lady Gaga.
