List of Thomson–East Coast MRT line station names

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) began conducting a public consultation exercise over the internet as well as via survey forms to gather public feedback on the naming of stations for Thomson stretch. Public consultation to source names for stations from stages 1 to 3 was conducted from 8 January 2013 to 17 February 2013. Three names for each station were shortlisted for public voting from 23 May 2013 to 17 June 2013.[1] The finalised station names for Thomson stretch was announced on 27 June 2014.[2]

Public consultation to source for names for stages 4 to 5 were conducted from 30 April 2015 to 31 May 2015, together with stations from Downtown MRT Line Extension. 2 station names were shortlisted and public voting was conducted from 1 October to 31 October 2015. [3] The finalised station names for Thomson stretch was announced on 21 July 2016.[4]
