List of ''Shameless'' (U.S. TV series) episodes
Shameless is an American television comedy-drama series which premiered on Showtime on January 9, 2011.[1] Created by Paul Abbott the series is adapted by John Wells based upon the British series of the same name. HBO began developing an American version of Shameless after striking a deal with John Wells in January 2009.[2] By October 2009 the development had moved to Showtime. John Wells Productions filmed a pilot episode for the cable network in December 2009.[3]
On November 8, 2017, the series was renewed for a ninth season,[4] which premiered on September 9, 2018.[5] As of September 30, 2018, 102 episodes of Shameless have aired.
