List of Running Man missions in 2017
The following is a list of missions that have aired on Running Man in 2017 (episode 332 to present) in chronological order. For other details, please refer to the List of Running Man episodes article.[1]
List of missions
Road races/themed races
These missions are variants of the race missions, which involve travelling through a city and between destinations to complete missions. Some episodes would feature special themes that form the race.
Staple missions
These missions were a main part of the show and played in many episodes along with the race mission.
- Photo Zone (포토존 게임) - Teams must appear in a designated area with their faces showing when a photo is taken.[2][3]
- Bells of Hide and Seek (방울 숨바꼭질) - Bells of Hide and Seek is a shortened version of the race mission. A "chasing" team wearing bells must catch the "mission" team by taking their name tags from their backs in an allotted time. The "mission" team will need to find hidden items in the landmark before the time runs out and not be caught by the "chasing" team. The "mission" team will win if they manages to complete the mission within the allotted time and not get caught by the "chasing" team, while the "chasing" team will win if they manages to capture all members of the "mission" team[4]
- Name Tag Elimination
Name Tag Elimination is a variation of Bells of Hide and Seek. It features a similar gameplay with the original game, except that this game is a deathmatch-like game, in which any member that has its nametag ripped will be ousted. Any chances to revive is impossible unless there will have a change of rules, or the player has a chance to have additional nametags before the game. The main mission is simply eliminate each other, but sometimes will feature additional missions that required the player to eliminate each other to obtain clues or items, or will feature additional rules that will affect the game. The last man standing will win.
Sometimes the game will feature spies. The spy can be one of the members, the guests, or both.
- Dodgeball - Two teams will throw a ball to the opposing team's area. A member is out if any part of their body is hit by the ball. The ousted members will go to the opponents area to help the attack. The team with the last man standing will win.
- Queen/King Dodgeball
The game is the same as the original dodgeball, except that one of the members will be the "queen/king" that must not get hit by the ball. The last man standing will be invincible in order to protect the "queen/king". The team with its "queen/king" surviving is the winner

- ↑ Song Ji-hyo, being the first member of "Member's Week" will choose who will receive the penalty. Initially, all of the members (except Song Ji-hyo) will be punished. However, a chance was introduced where for each game won, one of the remaining members will avoid the penalty
- ↑ The number of VIP tickets received by each teams affects the difficulty of each team's missions
- ↑ Yang Se-chan and Jeon So-min's first episode as new members
- ↑ Black Team (Taiwan Team) and Pink Team (Jeju-do Team) both accomplished their missions in the designated area, so one from White Team (Osaka Team) earns a sticker. However, despite being part of Taiwan Team, Yang Se-chan had the lightest souvenir, making him earn a tour sticker.
- ↑ Yellow Team (Hyolyn Team) got the lowest remaining money with Kim Jong-kook having the least amount of money among them, making him earn the Tourist Card.
- ↑ Kim Jong-kook and Jeon So-min must touch each other while calling out their pick in span of a minute as soon as the PD says that the members failed the given mission. They can then avoid the penalty by having at most 2 members guess their (secret) mission. Those who successfully guess Jong-kook and So-min's mission gets exempted from the penalty regardless of their whale pin count.
- ↑ Ji Suk-jin got the most number of whale pins, so he has to do the penalty along with a member of his choice. However, his choice is limited to the people who didn't guess the secret mission (i.e. Song Ji-hyo, Lee Kwang-soo, and Yang Se-chan). In the end, he picks Kwang-soo to go with him.
