Panic! at the Disco is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004 and featuring the current lineup of lead vocalist Brendon Urie, accompanied on tour by drummer Dan Pawlovich, guitarist Mike Naran, and bassist Nicole Row. The group was originally formed by former members Spencer Smith, Jonathan Walker, and Ryan Ross. The band has gone through multiple line-up changes in their career spanning six albums. There have been six official members of Panic! at the Disco, eleven touring members, and twenty-six session members.[1][2][3]
The band's first lineup changes started with the departure of bassist Brent Wilson, who was kicked out of the band shortly after the release of the band's debut album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out.[4][5][6][7] Wilson was replaced by Jon Walker, who also played guitar and keyboards in addition to bass for the band. This was followed in 2009 with the band's first major lineup change, when founding member and guitarist/vocalist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker announced their departure from the band in mid-2009.[8][9] Bassist/vocalist Dallon Weekes, who joined in 2009 as one of the replacements for Ross and Walker, was asked to join the band as an official member in 2010, nearing the end of the recording of the band's third studio album Vices & Virtues.[10] Later in 2013 after the release of the band's fourth album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!, drummer Spencer Smith unofficially left the band due to addiction and substance abuse, leaving Urie and Weekes as the remaining members.[11][12] In 2015, Spencer Smith officially left the band and Dallon Weekes reverted to being a touring member once again,[13][14] leaving Brendon Urie as the only member of the official lineup. In December 2017, Weekes officially announced his departure from the band. In September 2018, Harris was dismissed due to misconduct allegations. On October 6th, 2018, during the Sydney show for the Pray For The Wicked tour, it was revealed that the new guitarist is called Mike Naran.
