The friends are going to have a dragon boat festival. When Rintoo and Kai-Lan come in last place at the first dragon boat race because Rintoo was not following the peeking mice's drumbeat, he gets really mad, and whacks the boat onto a gazebo roof. Kai-Lan has to show him what to do when you feel too mad.

Rintoo makes a very special hat for the hat parade, but when Hoho make the same hat, Rintoo hates it!

It is the lantern festival, but Hoho is not listening to Ye-Ye's instructions and instead chases leaves, sniffs apples, and sways lanterns, so he eventually loses his lantern. And what's worse Hoho does not know how to listen.

The gang is going on a safari, and Rintoo gets jealous of Stompy the Elephant because he wants to be big like him and the other friends begin playing with Stompy instead of Rintoo.

While playing Twirly Whirly Flyers, Tolee was spinning so much he lands on the ants' bridge and breaks it by accident, so he runs away.

Kai-Lan helps her friend, Tolee overcome his fear of sledding by taking things little by little. First they down a small hill, then a medium-sized hill, then finally the big hill.

The gang is going to have a music show, with Kai-Lan on a tambourine, Rintoo on a xylophone, Hoho on the turntables and Tolee on the vocals to sing a rhyming song. The gang keeps trying with their difficult parts, but Tolee was having a hard time finding what rhymes with the words he recently states, and quickly gives up.

The gang is having a campout in Kai-Lan's backyard, but when they want to play with Tolee's panda doll Pandy, he refuses to share him. Kai-Lan needs to remind him to be a nice friend and share.

Hoho is having a hard time waiting for Rintoo's car to be finish, so he jumps in and breaks the car just before it is ready by accident. Kai-Lan tries to help Hoho find a way to be patient.

Kai-lan and her friends help build a brand new swing for the ants' playground. But it is way too big for them!

While the dragon team carries the dragon to the Chinese New Year parade, Rintoo gets upset and quits because he does not want to be in the "boring" middle. So Kai-lan needs to teach Rintoo that his job as a team is important.

Rintoo is excited to go trick or treating, but after spraining his ankle on a rock because he did not watch where he was going, Rintoo has to stay in bed with his ankle in a cast. Kai-Lan and her friends refuse to go without him, and need to find a way for him to go trick or treating with his friends.

When a waveknocks over Tolee's sandcastle 3 times by accident, Tolee becomes angry and stomps on his friends' whole sandcastles. Kai-Lan must get Tolee to calm down so they can finish the sandcastle.

Rintoo wants to be good at roller-skating, but at first it is more difficult than he expected, until he learns to take it slow by going on two hands, then one hand, then all by yourself.

Rintoo, Tolee and Hoho are sad because they cannot play with their stuff in the rain, but Kai-Lan has to teach them that there are some things you can do in the rain.

Note: Rintoo, Tolee and Hoho solve Kai-lan's problem by first time. The only other episode to use the problem solved by Kai-lan's friends are Kai-Lan's Big Surprise and The Dinosaur Balloon.

Rintoo and Hoho run away when they break Stompy's giant roller coaster by accident, the reason being the balls at a splashing game bounced off and hit a tire, then a coconut, then a seesaw, which made a beanbag box fly into the air and land on the rocket, So Kai-Lan needs to teach Hoho and Rintoo that they need to say "sorry", and help fix it.

Kai-Lan and Lulu have a special play date but cannot figure out what to play together because they want to play with different things. So they learn how to compromise.

When Rintoo wins all the dinosaur games (except The Ant Scooter Race, which Rintoo did not even participate in), he brags about it and it causes Tolee and Hoho to quit playing the games. Kai-Lan has to show Rintoo that he needs to learn to say something nice when you win games.

Kai-Lan and her friends visit to China to visit her great aunt and see the naming of a baby panda. Rintoo, Hoho and Tolee got scared to try something new in China, and soon the baby panda is scared to ride a boat for the first time as well. He is eventually calmed down by Kai-Lan and her friends, and overcomes Naviphobia. Originally shown as a double-length episode, generally shown as two parts.

The gang gets lost on their way to the ladybug festival because Rintoo and Hoho (and sometimes even Kai-Lan herself) silly and loudly chatter so much Tolee gets mad, because they are not listening to Tolee. Kai-Lan has to get them to listen because Tolee has something important to say.

Kai-Lan breaks her own dinosaur balloon by accident, the reason being she was dancing about how much she loved dinosaurs. Stompy does not want to help her because it was not his fault that the balloon broke. It is up to Rintoo to convince Stompy that helping others is part of being a good friend.

Note: Rintoo, Tolee and Hoho solve Kai-Lan's problem for second time. The only other episodes are Kai-Lan's Big Surprise and Rain or Shine.

Tolee invites Kai-Lan, Rintoo and Hoho for a playdate at his boathouse for the day, but when Rintoo rips Tolee's new panda painting by accident, Tolee gets angry and does not forgive Rintoo, since Tolee forgave Rintoo for the last two mistakes Rintoo made in the episode, which makes Rintoo feel sad. Kai-Lan teaches Tolee that forgiving others is part of being a good friend.

Kai-Lan and friends are super excited to make lanterns, eat moon cakes and best of all, watch the moon come out at the moon festival, but the sky is too cloudy to see the moon, which makes Hoho sad.

Hoho is furious that Rintoo is chosen to be The Monkey King in a play instead of him, so Hoho starts to give up. Kai-lan needs to teach Hoho that he needs to say what is making him mad.

Kai-Lan wants to have a thank-you party for Ye Ye, but a huge gust of wind ruins everything Kai-Lan and her friends had set up for the party (the decorations, the "I Love You" card, and the pineapple cake).

Note:Rintoo, Tolee and Hoho solve Kai-Lan's problem for third and last time. How they solve Kai-Lan's problem is making her happy, and helping her fix the party before Ye Ye comes back from apple picking. The only other episodes to use this feature is The Dinosaur Balloon and Rain or Shine.

Kai-Lan and her pals get to take part in a show with the Chinese Rabbit Acrobats. However, Rintoo does not practice his flips, and when he tries flipping, he falls instead. As a result, he gives up with tears and quits the show.

Kai-Lan and her friends are riding a train to Hula Duck Island, but Stompy shows up unexpectedly and wants to join in, too. But he cannot ride the train because there are no more empty seats. Kai-Lan and her friends learn to find a way for everyone, including Stompy, to play.

The gang is having a lot of fun at a water park, but Rintoo plays too rough and upsets Tolee and Hoho, getting to the point where Tolee and Hoho tell Rintoo that they do not want to play with him anymore. Kai-Lan teaches Rintoo to play in a gentle way so everyone can play and have fun.

Bubu, Fufu and two unnamed ants get ready for a dance show with Kai-Lan's band, but the show is almost ruined when Bubu gets bossy and makes all the choices. So Bubu learned that if his friends have a choice, everyone will feel happy and they can have a splendid time.

Kai-Lan and her friends go sailing and play hide-and-seek along with the dolphins. Rintoo loves driving too much and does not give Tolee a turn, so Tolee stops the boat with its anchor and jumps on a raft. Kai-Lan needs to show Rintoo the importance of taking turns so everyone can play-and fast, so they can find the last dolphin.

It is a snowy day, and Kai-Lan and her friends are building a snow coaster that they can all ride! Everyone has a job to do, but an overprotective Rintoo keeps taking little Hoho's jobs, that makes him sad because he wants to help out. Kai-Lan and the viewer need to help Rintoo see that even though Hoho is small, he still likes to help.

Kai-Lan and her friends are invited to play at Lulu's house. But Hoho is feeling uncomfortable, scared and sad because things are different. Kai-Lan and the viewer need to show Hoho there is nothing to be afraid of and try different things.

Kai-Lan and her friends are going to decorate their brand new playhouse with art supplies. But when Hoho gets mad since Rintoo stole all of the supplies he wants, he ends up hitting him on the leg. This prompts Ye Ye to discipline Hoho by sending him to the time out chair until he can learn how to calm down and use his words to tell Rintoo why he is so upset, instead of hitting. It is up to Kai-Lan and members of the audience at home to prove to Hoho that even when you are very upset about something, violence & hitting is never the solution to any of life's problems.

Kai-Lan and her friends are recolecting vegetables for the garden celebration. When Pandy falls into a mud puddle since Tolee was trying to pull out a turnip, Ye Ye takes him to be washed. Although Tolee is upset having Pandy ruined, he is even more upset to be away from him, even for a couple of minutes. Kai-Lan needs to help Tolee remember that Pandy will be back soon.

When the snails' merry-go-round breaks because it went over a rock and crashed at the bottom of a hill. Kai-Lan and her friends agree to build a new merry-go-round for the baby snails. When Tolee promises to help, he runs off to go see the ants' scooter race. Kai-Lan needs to show Tolee that he should be a good friend and keep his promise.

The ants, snails and worms are busy building a new fruit stand in Ant City. When Ye Ye gives Kai-Lan and her friends kites for a present, they forget about the wrapping paper, eventually reaches his kite causing problems for the ants, snails and worms when their trash gets everywhere. Kai-Lan and her friends need to help take care of the place where they all live before the insects find out.

The Hula Ducks are having a dance party on the beach, and Kai-Lan and her friends are invited. While playing musical chairs, Tolee has to sit out every time because he lost when he did not pay attention to when the music stops and still dances rather than acting fast to find a chair. Kai-Lan has to find a way for Tolee to play so he will not be left out.

When the Monkey King visits Kai-lan and her friends, he needs their help in a magical place of foxes and bears where the foxes and the bears do not talk to each other because they are not friends. So, Kai-Lan and her friends travel to the land of the Fox Kingdom and the Bear Kingdom to try to get the foxes and bears to talk to each other, but it may prove to be Kai-lan's greatest challenge yet. And, they figure out what makes the foxes and bears mad. So Kai-Lan gets the Fox King and Bear Queen to talk to each other about what is making them mad, so their friends can help them. Finally, the foxes and bears sing and dance together to become friends and both kingdoms become into one kingdom named "The Kingdom of Friends".
