Ezhava is a caste-based community of Kerala, India. They are also known as Ilhava, Irava, Izhava and Erava in the south of the region; as Chovas, Chokons Chekons and Chogons in Central Travancore; and as Tiyyas, Thiyyas and Theeyas in Malabar.
