Borussia Dortmund is a German football club based in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia. The team play in the Bundesliga – the highest tier in the German football league system. The club was founded in 1909.
The following is a list of players who have made 100 or more first team appearances for the club. This consists of appearances in the Bundesliga, Second Bundesliga North, Regionalliga West, DFB-Pokal, European Cup, UEFA Cup, UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, Oberliga West and the finals of the German football championship. Players with fewer appearances are also included if they are a club record holder, or have won a notable individual award with the club such as the German Footballer of the Year.

Notes
- A. ^ Burgsmüller is the club's record goalscorer in the Bundesliga, with 135 goals.[1] He also holds the record for most goals in a single match, scoring five times in a match against Arminia Bielefeld in 1982.[2]
- B. ^ Lenz was the first player to represent the Germany national team while playing for the club.[3]
- C. ^ Sammer was the German Footballer of the Year in 1995 and 1996.[4] He also became the first Borussia Dortmund player to win the Ballon d'Or in 1996.[5]
- D. ^ Tilkowski was the German Footballer of the Year in 1965.[4]
- E. ^ Zorc has played the most games for the club in the Bundesliga with 463 appearances.[1]
