Haruto suggested at the train station that they break up due to the expenses Yuzuki used to visit him at his home during weekends. Yuzuki agreed but smiles. As the train leaves the station, Haruto looks out and saw Yuzuki on her knees and crying her heart out. Haruto felt guilty but think this was the best for them as he also wants Yuzuki to fully pursue her dream. Years later, Haruto got a promotion which was recommended by his senior at his work. The promotion was meant for her but she insisted he was the one who did the great job. Therefore, he got the promotion to Tokyo! Luck smile upon them as Haruto gets the chance to work again at Tokyo with Yuzuki staying there.

When Haruto arrives he met Takashi and he kid on the fact that Haruto still hasn't give up on Yuzuki thus still has no girlfriend. Haruto asked about Yuzuki but Takashi said that he hasn't see her personally. After that Haruto walked to the place where he and Yuzuki went and remember the promise that they will meet each other during each cheery blossom . And as the flowers drop he saw Yuzuki standing in front of him with Yuzuki saying "you are late" making Haruto cried as he thinks of the day where he and Yuzuki broke up at the train station. He then hugs Yuzuki which tears in both of their eyes.

They then proceed to get married with Takashi saying he was surprised that they got married once Haruto came back. Kiyomi then said she was impressed that the both of them can still be together as if it was her after waiting for so long she would have found another boyfriend to be with. Haruto then praised Yuzuki in her beautiful wedding dress and Kiyomi says that anything that is as cute as her would bound to be nice in anything.

Before the ceremony Yuzuki dad was shown to be very proud of how his daughter grew up to be a woman like her mother and ask her to look at their daughter on how much she grew. After Haruto carried Yuzuki out and they proceed to take pictures. Years later, Takashi and Akari went to visit Haruto restaurant with them talking on how Haruto gave up his job to open his own restaurant. As they were walking they bump into Daiki with Takashi commending on how much Daiki has grown up. They then went to Haruto's restaurant and with all their old friends they watched as Asuka played baseball for the Japan's national team with Haruto taking out Kazama helmet and insisted that all of them should watch together bringing tears to Yuzuki's eyes. As the end approaches Haruto thinks that as long as he is with his friends who has been with him all the years even thought if they are idiots he is happy, and most importantly he is happy that he met Yuzuki again in this town where he live.
