Lisa Menna

Lisa Menna (born July 24, 1967) is a professional magician and activist.[1][2][3] She was named the most influential female magician of the 20th century by Comment Magazine.[4] As a pioneer in a male-dominated profession, early in her career, she was banned from the Magic Circle, Fakir Circles, the Inner Circle and Tannen's, because she was female.[4]

Due to her original contributions to the art of magic, Menna was the first woman to be invited to lecture and perform at FISM. She is also the only woman to have played in every theater of the Magic Castle in Hollywood.[5]

In the 1990s, she achieved notability and worldwide success performing as a trade show magician, known as "the Darling of Dot Com".[6]

In 2011, Menna founded the non-profit organization Cause to Wonder. This is a theatre for social change organization that coordinates curiosity based events across the globe.[7][3]
