Lisa Opie (born May 9, 1991) is an American beauty pageant titleholder, actress, model, and swimsuit designer.[2]

Early life

Opie has lived in California, Illinois, Texas, North Dakota, Virginia, and Florida, and in Spain, Japan, and Barbados. She is currently situated in Miami, Florida.[3]

 Opie completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in political science with a minor in history. Opie was involved with the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Opie is the creator and designer of luxury swimwear brand Vizcaya Swimwear.[4][5]

Modeling

Lisa Opie is an internationally published model . She has been featured in magazines such as "Zoo Weekly", "People", "Daily Mail", "Huffington Post", "Yahoo!", "MSN" and "New York Post".[6][7][8]

Pageant experience

Miss United States

Opie was Miss Virgin Islands 2013[9][10] in the Miss United States Organization. Opie placed fourth runner-up at Miss United States 2012.[11] She competed in Miss United States again the next year and placed in Top 15.[12][13]

Miss Nationwide

Lisa Opie was crowned Miss Nationwide 2014 in December 2013. Lisa Opie represented Florida in the national pageant.[14][15]

Miss Florida USA

In December 2014, Lisa Opie was crowned Miss South Florida USA 2016. Opie will represent South Florida at the Miss Florida USA pageant in July 2015.[16][17]

Lady Code

In September 2013, Opie created a women's wellness and lifestyle blog, Lady Code.[18][19] Lisa was a victim of bullying during her time at Williamsburg Christian Academy and Jamestown High School (Virginia), and is now using the Lady Code platform to promote women's empowerment and anti-bullying.[20][21][22]

Vizcaya Swimwear

Vizcaya Swimwear was founded by Lisa Opie and Franz Orban in late 2012.[23] Opie credits the success of her swimwear line to her network in the modeling and pageant industry.[24] In early 2014, Vizcaya Swimwear became the official swimwear sponsor of the Miss United States Organization.[25]
