Lina Wolff

Lina Wolff, born 1973, is a Swedish novelist and short story writer.[1]

Wolff lived in Spain for a few years. Her first book, the short story collection Många människor dör som du ("Many People Die Like You"), was published in Swedish in 2009. Her second book, the novel Bret Easton Ellis och de andra hundarna, was awarded the Vi Magazine Literary Prize in 2012.[1] Bret Easton Ellis and the Other Dogs was published in English (translated by Frank Perry) in 2016 to critical acclaim.[2][3] In 2016 Wolff published the novel De polyglotta älskarna ("The Polyglot Lovers") which was awarded the prestigious August Prize. In 2017 The Polyglot Lovers (in English translation by Saskia Vogel for And Other Stories) won a PEN Translates Award.[4] Wolff lives in Skåne in the south of Sweden.[1]
