Lila Finn (born Lila Shanley; November 28, 1909 - November 15, 1996)[2] was an American actress and stunt woman who performed in films for almost six decades[2] and was known for such films as Gone with the Wind,[2] It's a Wonderful Life,[2] Blazing Saddles, The Goonies, Drum, The Towering Inferno, Suburban Commando, The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear[2] and The Poseidon Adventure.[1]

Finn was also an athlete who competed on the U.S. women's volleyball team from 1955 to 1960.[1] At the age 50 Finn was awarded a silver medal in the 1959 Pan American Games in Chicago, Illinois.[1]

Finn died from heart failure on November 15, 1996 at age 86.[1]
