Like a Woman (album)

Like a Woman is the debut studio album, written and conducted by model, singer and songwriter Kacy Hill. It was released on 30 June 2017 through Kanye West's label GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings.

After the release of her ground-breaking debut extended play, entitled Bloo, she began to tour with acts such as Jack Garratt, who co-wrote and produced her official debut single "Foreign Fields" back in 2015.

The album began its production in late May 2016 when Hill announced that she was making the album's first single on social media. Then, in early July 2016, it was titled "Lion" and was released on 8 July 2016. She spent most of 2016 and into 2017 making the album until April 2017. During this time, she was announced as a featured appearance on a song called "Europa Pools" for Cashmere Cat's debut album 9. It was released on 28 April 2017.

Shortly after in May 2017, she released two brand new singles from her new album called "Like a Woman" and "Hard to Love". "Hard to Love" in particular was said to have been the most emotional song that Kacy Hill has written for the album. They were both released on 12 May 2017.

During the release of the two songs, the album was announced under the title Like a Woman after its second single. The tracklist revealed that "Lion" was the lead single, as well as a previously released track "Arm's Length" being confirmed on the album.

One the week prior to its release, she released the album's first promotional single, entitled "Keep Me Sane" to digital streaming services on 23 June 2017.
