Light electric vehicle

Light electric vehicles are electric vehicles with 2 or 4 wheels powered by a battery, fuel cell, or hybrid-powered, and generally weighing less than 100 kilograms (220 lb).[1] Examples include electric bicycles, electric kick scooters. In Europe these are classified under the L category.
