Liberators: Fighting on Two Fronts in World War II is a 1992 documentary film directed by Bill Miles. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.[1][2]
Even before the film was nominated for an Academy Award it was found to be a complete fabrication. The people interviewed within the film lied about liberating Dachau and never served in the unit they claim and were never within the vicinity of the camp to have assisted in the liberation.[3]
