Lewis Ward (born 5 March 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays for Northampton Town, on loan from Reading, as a goalkeeper.
Career
Ward began his career with Reading, spending loan spells at Whitehawk, Sutton United and Fylkir.[2]
He signed on loan for Margate in August 2016.[3]
He spent two loan spells with Hungerford Town, the second beginning in August 2017.[4]
He moved on loan to Aldershot Town in November 2017, originally until January 2018,[5] but this was later extended until the end of the season.[6]
He signed a new contract with Reading in June 2018.[7]
He signed on loan for Northampton Town in July 2018.[1] He made his professional debut on 14 August 2018, in the EFL Cup.[8]
Personal life
Ward has obtained a degree in Sports Journalism from the University of Staffordshire.[7][9]
