Leptospermum nitens is a member of the Myrtaceae family endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The shrub typically grows to a height of 1.5 to 3 metres (5 to 10 ft). It blooms between July and January producing white-pink flowers.[1]

It is found on hills and among granite or sandstone rocks in the southern Wheatbelt and Goldfields-Esperance regions of Western Australia where it grows in sand or gravel soils.[1]
