Lecithocera plicata is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by C.S. Wu and K.T. Park in 1999. It is found in Sri Lanka.[1]

The wingspan is 10–12 mm. The forewings are ochreous brown with a dark brown pattern. The cell-dot is obvious and the discal spot combinates with the tornal stripe. The hindwings are greyish white in the basal half, brown in the apical half.

Etymology

The species name is derived from Latin plicatus (meaning coiled).[2]
