Lech Gardocki

Lech Gardocki (born April 13, 1944 in Rydzewo, Poland), lawyer, judge and former First President of the Supreme Court of Poland.

Career

He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw in 1966.

On July 4, 1996 he was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court. On October 17, 1998 President Aleksander Kwaśniewski appointed him as the First President of the court. After his first term, he was appointed again then was replaced by Stanisław Dąbrowski in October 2010.[1]
