Lauren Giraldo (born January 11, 1998) is an American singer, actress, producer and advocate. Giraldo grew up in Miami, Florida and is of Colombian and Spanish descent. Giraldo studied musical theater as a child in Miami and moved to Los Angeles to follow an entertainment career.[1]

Entertainment

Giraldo is the host of AwesomenessTV’s "Lauren Against the Internet" on Go90. Giraldo is also the host of the show "Lady Bits with Lauren Giraldo" for the Fullscreen Network.[2]

Giraldo is the executive producer of Latina docu-series with Covert Media.,[3][4] The show began casting in early 2016 in Miami. She starred in Vine’s series "Camp Unplug" which was released in July 2016. She received three Streamy Award nominations for the series.[5]

She has appeared in multiple publications including Teen Vogue, Seventeen and Latina Magazine.[6][7][8]

Music

On December 17, 2016, Giraldo announced the date of her debut single release and a US/Canada tour called the Lauren Giraldo Tour. Her single "Only Lovers" was released on January 27, 2017. A follow up single titled "So Cool" was released on December 1, 2017.

Social media

As of December 2016, Giraldo has a social media following of 4.9 million followers across her channels. Her subject matter often focuses on empowerment of women around the world.[9]
