Users and price

The Langille Athletic Centre can be used by students and staff at the faculty of Agriculture, as well as all Dalhousie students, free of charge. The facility may also be used by paying members, and guests who pay a daily drop-in fee. Prices for students are integrated into the fee paid during tuition. Members' prices vary depending on the length of the membership, starting at $58 for a month, and going down in price per month when a longer membership is purchased. Guest fees are $6 for adults, and $5 for students of other institutions and seniors.[7]

Other uses of the LAC

The Langille Athletic Centre is also used as the main exam writing area of students at the faculty of Agriculture, during the exam periods that occur twice a year and last for one week each.[8] The centre also hosts events throughout the year, such as the annual craft market, and the graduation services at the end of each year.[9]
