Lander Valley High School

Lander Valley High School (LVHS) is the primary high school located in Lander, Wyoming at 350 Baldwin Creek Rd, Lander, Wyoming 82520. The school is part of the Fremont County District #1. Lander serves as the county seat for Fremont county and the school district services the outlying communities. These include the towns of Lander, Hudson, Jeffrey City, Atlantic City, and the surrounding area, which also includes the Wind River Indian Reservation. The school is accredited by the Wyoming Department of Education and AdvancED (North Central).

History

The school was originally located on Main Street with their field house located on Baldwin Creek. In 2004 they demolished the old high school and built the new one.

The school appears to have been founded in 1944.
