Lady Anne Hill

Lady Anne Catherine Dorothy Hill (née Gathorne-Hardy; 1911–2006) was a British bookseller.

She was born in 1911, the daughter of Gathorne Gathorne-Hardy, 3rd Earl of Cranbrook and Lady Dorothy Montagu Boyle.[1]

In 1935, she met James Lees-Milne, and they were engaged for nine months.[1] In 1938, she married the bookseller George Heywood Hill, a cousin of her sister-in-law Fidelity Cranbrook (née Seebohm, second wife of the 4th Earl).[1] They lived in Warwick Avenue, Maida Vale, and later in Richmond.[1] They had two daughters.[1]
