Lachlan Burr (born 27 September 1992) is an Australian professional Rugby League footballer who most plays for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the NRL. He plays as a second-row and lock.

The Australian and previously played for the Leigh Centurions in the Betfred Super League and NRL team the Gold Coast Titans

Background

Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Burr played his junior football for the Revesby Heights Rhinos before being signed by the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. In 2008, Burr played for the New South Wales Under 16s team.

Playing career

From 2009 to 2012, Burr played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs' NYC team.[3][4]

In 2009 and 2010, Burr played for the New South Wales U18's team.

In 2010, Burr played for the Australian Schoolboys.

In 2013, Burr moved on to the Bulldogs' New South Wales Cup team and won the Bulldogs' New South Wales Cup Player of the Year award.[5]

In Round 25 of the 2013 NRL season, Burr made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs against the Penrith Panthers.[6]

On 4 September 2014, Burr signed a 2-year contract with the Gold Coast Titans starting in 2015.[7]

On 21 September 2014, Burr was named on the interchange bench in the 2014 New South Wales Cup Team of the Year.[8]

In October 2016 he joined Bradford Bulls,[9] but following their liquidation in January 2017 he signed a 1 Year Deal with Leigh Centurions.[10]
