Laçin is a small town in Sarıcakaya district of Eskişehir Province, Turkey. It is situated at 39°42′N 31°29′E / 39.700°N 31.483°E, along the Sakarya River. The distance to Sarıcakaya is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) and to Eskişehir is 55 kilometres (34 mi) . The population of Laçin was 596[1] as of 2012. The history of the settlement goes back to 16th century. The maim economic activities of the town are agriculture, sheep and cattle breeding and lately poultry rising.[2] The town is also known for mineral water sources around.
